and to think there are probably only 2 318's in all of Manchester
i remember I moved to Toms River Nj from Greenland NH
back then there were no Hummers around Portsmouth
but Toms River had one on every block
I like to think NH people were more practical
but they could just be poorer![]()

Two things occur to me:
1.) thank god I work for a small fleet, almost never see two of our trucks in the same truck stop.
2.) why do so many drivers leave their doors unlocked? I'd loose my sugar honey ice tea if I was in the bunk and my passenger door opened up!
Heck I've had my wife with me OTR a few trips and when she goes to use the bathroom in the middle of the night she wakes me before she goes.Hurst Thanks this. -
I always lock my truck when I am in it,.. yet I often leave it unlocked when I am not. I locked my self out of it spring of 2014 and while trying to use the vent window to reach the handle to unlock the door,.. the vent window exploded. Since then I have a spare key in a magnet box attached to the frame under the hood and last summer I added a hidey hole to my headache rack and have a key hidden there also. Yet,.. I still find myself leaving the truck unlocked when I go inside to get my receipt for fuel,.. potty break,.. or what ever. Yet when inside the truck,.. I feel safer with the curtain closed and the doors locked so lot lizzards/beggers wont knock on my door. Weird,.. I know.
Oh,.. and I like it when DOT reaches to open my door and its locked,.. I then roll down the window and make him climb up on my steps instead. I only open my door if he asks. My way of being a prick for him stopping me with out being too obvious about it.

Routine is key.
After a very long night in Nashville, I never lock a door unless I have my key in my hand. -
Because I don't have a dog, my doors are always locked. Even with a dog, I'd still lock them probably.

Make a spare copy and attach it with a zip tie in the engine compartment on a wire etc so you're not locked out, EVER.
