    The first day of this blitz and I didn't see a single truck getting inspected.
    Most were closed.

    I got pulled in with a red light on my PrePass in IN, but went right through.

    I crossed two scales on 57 south of Chicago. Southbound and empty I was pulled in. The scale was so full we were on the shoulder. I was the only one leaving the posted "100 foot gap between trucks" and I was the first given the bypass lane! Three DOT bears out back workin'.

    Back northbound with a 37K reload and got the green on prepass. No Bears there.

    But did see two Cook County Sheriff SUVs in a BP on pershing just west of the Dan Ryan that has a scale and diesel fuel islands.

    Two trucks NB at Superior WI this morning (both with at least full inspections), southbound was closed. They are reconstructing that scale.

    They need to announce they're doing it this week and actually do it next week, I didn't see one truck today with the hood taped on or the fuel tank held on with a strap.

    Well hmph.

    My observation:
    Today was interesting. On I55 and 355 (Illinois)............ yikes. Fricking state troopers on bikes pulling trucks over like its no tomorrow. One of them even passed me on the shoulder.......imagine if i did that... lol. I think every median had about 3 state troopers aswell. Also, that I55 Scale north bound... was working HARD!!! Got redlighted... saw 5 trucks with OOS stickers and another 3 pulled in.

    From my fellow friends that work with the same company as me ;

    Iowa - all scales closed upto des moines,ia (weird)
    Wisconsin - all scales closed.. ghost town in Wisconsin (oddly weird..).
    Indiana - red lighted on i94 east bound/westbound but rolling through
    Michigan - i94 nb, 10+ state troopers at various times from 7am to 4pm
