I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Stuck in Union City, TN. Parked at Wal-Mart. Customer wasn't there when I got there despite assurances from dispatch otherwise. Will load in the morning. Why they couldn't have just scheduled it then so I could have had a chance to ####, shower and shave in Memphis......#facepalm

Bought a prepaid net10 phone on Verizon as T-Mobile has no service here and I need a backup phone anyways.

 

Glad I was going north on I81 today instead of south, there was an accident at the West Virginia and Maryland state line and it was shut down, traffic was backed up from Pa. to Wv lines.

Sitting in Carlisle at the Petro tonight in a reserved spot, much better than the cluster at the J

 

i heard a trucker say once that dispatchers were like used car salesmen....the truth is in them but it ain't come out yet

 

Dang dude weren't you just in El Paso?? Man you and that Rocks dame sure do get around!!

Any word on when they will be shutting the site down?

 

Left yesterday morning and delivered this afternoon.

This $40 LG android phone ain't that bad. It's no galaxy note 3 but it's liveable.

 

Will get my 70 tomorrow around noon central time. Got a load that will pick up sometime tomorrow nearby here in Calif... appt. not set yet... Gotta call broker tomorrow and try to schedule this for no later than noon Calif time... I don't like starting my day too late...

Will have to rush to scale down in Long Beach cause that one in Commerce is just AWFUL... Where can one even adjust the freaking tandems if they need?



And if they need to go back to little tiny "truck stop", will have to go around several blocks... Only a couple "truck stops" in that area and pretty bad...

Can't wait to get out of here... Will be going to TX.... Yeee-haaa....

I have no idea what Peoplenet looks like in the back-office, but I DO know what QC looks like in the back office.. He wants numbers and reports? They have bunches! It can tell whom ever is watching the exact streets you're driving on, which direction and how fast or slow. You can set up so many bells and whistles it blew my mind! (We have just the basic/basic service and it still has bunches of info available... So maybe the determining factor was cost??
