Thanks drozzer. I just wanna get thru the pretrip and driving ok. Just hope I do it just like they want it done.
drozzer69 Thanks this. -
I am sure you will do fine. Just remember to check the few miner things we have mentioned in the past. As far as driving, you have been doing it for some time, just be safe. The safety manager may ask you to describe what your looking at as you drive. Don't curb any tires, don't drive on the wrong side of the road. Yes we had a guy do that here, big time fail. If you have any questions feel free to ask away and any of us can help you!

Senior VP was at a celebration here. Told our GTM Walmart is "taking back" 4 grocery DC's for the reasons stated - cost are too high, service too low.

Can anybody tell me when will my cpm rate increase because I'm struggling to get 500 miles a day and the activity isn't there because dispatch sending me out and back. I'm going to talk to a manager my ADP isn't what I'm hearing every body else is and I'm working everyday all day. I think it's a dispating issue I need to stay out more often not always returning back to my Dc.

I got my phone call today to schedule my pretrip and driving test. The gentleman I talked to today was very nice and seemed eager to meet with me. All this is very new to me. I have work for the same guy since I was 12 years old ( I'm 31 now) so I have never went through an actual interview process. It has been an experience to say the least lol. So I need to be at the DC I applied for at 7:00 June 19th, can someone tell me how early I should show up. I don't want to show up too early but also not to late. I was going to shoot for 6:45 but all your info would be helpful. Thank you again to everyone on here.

Those of us who are doing well have been here a while and understand the operation. You do not have to run 500 miles a day to make $100K+. Not knowing your exact situation, I would suggest doing a self evaluation. Determine how much time you are spending at each stop, how much time is spent during your 14 hour clock not earning money doing things like eating, taking a shower, slip seating tractors, or just resting. There are numerous ways to make the most out of your 14 hour day to earn money. Some weeks you may run more miles and less activity pay, and then other weeks it is the opposite, less miles and more activity pay. You really cannot judge your income on a week to week basis, but rather on a longer term like your ADP, which is your average earnings for the past 3 months.
Give it a bit more time since you are still within your first 90 days on the job. Every day new ways to be more efficient can arise, either by your own discovery, or by talking with fellow drivers you see.Teion, drozzer69 and noninetofive Thank this. -
Just show up around 6:30 and spend the extra time having a cup of coffee and chatting with other Walmart drivers in the driver break room. It will help ease any nervousness or anxiety you may feel.

Congratulations and best wishes to you as you take the next step in the process.noninetofive Thanks this.
