When you park your truck anywhere make sure where you park is safe and easy to get in and out of where you park,
If you park at a truck stop pick the easiest place to park even if it requires you to walk a little bit more to the truck stop. Do not park on the end of rows where trucks going in, out and around the parking lot can hit your truck.
Pulling in nose first where you can back out will protect your tractor from getting hit,,a trailer hit will still allow you to drive the tractor bette a trailer is damaged than your tractor,
When you see an other truck parked nose in many times the driver also does this so it is quieter. If you have a reefer to run or want to let your truck run,,respect the trucks that are seeking a quiet place to park,
If you park next to a truck and especially a wide load don't park right up close to the truck,,give some room so that a driver parked next to you can get in, out and around his truck.
For wide aand oversize loads give them room too sometimes oversize loads need more room to get and out of parking spaces. becarefull not to hit their loads,,be especially carefull backing into a spot when there is a cr carrier parked behind you, don't hit the cars on the back of his trailer,
DO NOT BLIND SIDE BACK UP IN TO A PARKING PLACE UNLESS THERE IS NO OTHER WAY,,DRIVE AROUND SO YOU CAN BACK IN ON YOUR LEFT SIDE.
G.O.A.L ASK AN OTHER DRIVER TO BE YOUR GOUND GUIDE. IF YOU ARE RUNNING A TEAM GET YOUR CO-DRIVER OUT TO WATCH AND HELP YOU PARK. I HAVE SEEN DRIVERS HIT OTHER PARKED TRUCKS AND THEIR CO-DRIVER IS SITTING IN THE TRUCK NEXT TO THEM. MANY OF THE OLD TIMERS WITH MILLIONS OF MILES G.O.A.L. NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED ABOUT DOING EVERYTHING AND TAKING YOUR TIME TO PARK.
An accident hitting an other truck in a truck stop or at a loading dock is unacceptable and avoidable
Don't loose your job or maybe put some other driver out of work because you damaged his truck.
Want to go fast do it on the road not a truck stop or parking lot and most of all remember you do not want to injure and other driver backing over him,,it happens a lot so don't let it be you!!
Pretty basic stuff but it also about your safety and job too. For many drivers with lots of miles and experience want to see you have an accident free career. Safe driving even in a parking lot makes us all look good!
BTW Have you seen the latest picture of Bruce Jenner? Amazing what make up will do!

I have the back view of the Vanity Fair cover in a meme, but it'd get my hand slapped if it put it up. Let's just say it is reminiscent of the end of the Ace Ventura movie.

Here is one for you,,Was at the Scale going east on I-80 in Evanston,Wy getting an oversize permit,,As we all know Wyoming requires all trucks to stop and come in,,While there a male driver driving a prime flat bed came in in a dress, he was wearing work boots too. Scale officers told me he comes thru there a lot..Everyone did all they could not to laugh until it left.
A year later I was there again and he again came in this time in a skirt.
Oh! over the hump in Pahrump,,, -
I feel bad for Kris Jenner. Her husbands either die or become women.
