    Hauling the Terex 555, I had to stretch my trl. 4' and then have the end of the crane 22" from my neck.. 24" and still to heavy on the rear and 20 " from the neck and I would be over on my drives

    Ron, looking at the pic. This just my thoughts and I hope I'm wrong.
    I think you might have to move it towards the neck 2 out rigger brackets. Hope I'm wrong though. You got 26 in the well correct?

    Yes I have 26 in the well and we are thinking the same

    I want the ladder just behind the double outrigger

    Oh and trail King made the first outrigger - the pin in ones - about 1" shorter than the swing outs - really???

    Well it is basically 6 axles and get two pilot cars for the two lanes and 5 mph over all two lane bridges or 9 axles with my drop and load and go.

    Either way I had to get another trailer because I only had a 2 axle the first day. Would have been dw21 in Montana

    Thanks. First time pulling anything other than a 3 axle rgn or 4 axle flat. Weights ended up being 10600, 43000, 39340, 40600 and 21000

    Forgot to mention that there were only two open scales today and neither one even pulled me in to check paperwork, let alone their blitz crap.

    I guess I had enough chains that they thought why bother.

    That works on common air trailers. Ron's is a mechanical coffin style with a trunnion shaft, that doesn't change a thing on his set-up.
    Ron, RT cranes-Very unstable, top heavy loads. I only haul them 2 ways;
    1-on my rail...the prefered method, lower and more stable by far.
    2-on my deck...I outrigger down and just relive the tires slightly (don't lift them clear, just remove some of the "squish"), them I block under the outrigger boxes to the frame of the deck, outrigger up and then tie down. You will never truly get an RT tied tight on a deck, the tires have too much give in them.
    Oh yeah, that pic reminds me...Grove hydraulics SUCK!!! Make sure you put a 2" ratchet strap to keep that boom from walking out, because trust me IT WILL!

    *I'm in a crappy cell area tomorrow morning, but if you need help or want clarification try calling
