Pulled into a Flying Peelot just south of Dayton, Ohio at 5pm think I'd be good for lots of parking.
Wrong!
That place is a nightmare.. only a few spaces left and tighter than most truck stops in the Northeast.
I circled around which took at 20 minutes waiting for people to back into spaces and I counted 3 different people that got out of their trucks (drivers already parked) nervously watching to make sure their truck didn't get hit by other making tight maneuvers.
So I was like F this and got out of there. It's not worth waking up to my truck without a bumper.
Earlier today I drove one heck of an explosion/traffic jam.
An oversized load crashed and exploded on a bridge on I-75 at mile around 99 southbound.
Nothing much of the truck was left.
The driver died, somehow under the bridge.
I-75 wasn't moving for half the day.
