If I come across one I'm taking a selfie with the receiver to my ear and a clear shot of the phone so one day I can explain pay phones to my kid. He's only a baby now so pretty much zero chance of him ever seeing one. Crap like that is weird. I'll bet jails are the only place they'll continue to exist at least for a while.

I got a garmin dezl few months back after my car gps #### the bed. I won't say it's better. Offers hos n a couple other features I don't care about. And routes me pretty out of the way on "shortest route" for no apparent reason. Glad I know 95% of where I'm going all the time. (Only really look to see the last few miles to the jobsite/yard I'm going to)
I wouldn't purchase another for myself or someone else.

I didn't know that at all. Thanks for the tip though. It's been a while since I've upgraded my Rand McNally. I'm gonna have to do that now.

I use gps as a tool,I dont use it as gospel.I use it mainly on the highway,as the junction view shows the lanes needed to stay on route.
I call ahead and get directions off the interstate.Low clearance bridges and truck routes are my responsibility.
Car garmin nuvi is my choice,$50 off craigslist.

None of them are perfect, but I've had less problems with my Garmin Dezl 760 than any others, and that includes a couple of Cobras and a PC Miler standalone GPS. As a matter of habit, I have Microsoft Streets and Trips with a GPS antenna on my laptop, and often consult Google Maps in street view mode when going someplace I haven't been to before. So, between the Garmin, my laptop, and my smartphone, I have a backup for my backup, and if all else fails, I call my wife and she checks it out using Google Earth from home.

Copilot on phone has the best routing of any consumer navigation system, I've owned them all.
