Driver, it sounds like you have some problems at home that need to be tended to.

My company would probably send her flowers just to butter her up and get her hubby in the truck. Unless she's one of those mental and irritatingly pesky types, I can't imagine why they would ever be rude to a potential driver's wife after they probably just spent a bunch of time recruiting him??

If he's at one of those mega-mills, I guess I can see them treating him like he's incarcerated.

I think it is kind of sad that so many people have jumped on the OP about "controlling" his wife. Must be an awful lot of unhappy marriages in this forum!
I don't know the guy's wife, and I'd be hard pressed to judge her without knowing more about the situation.:biggrin_2552:

I agree. We don't really know much about the situation and you would think a company would be sensitive to a driver's wife wanting to know what's going on with her husband who has enlisted with the highway equivalent of the French Foreign Legion. Their rudeness or impatience makes me question the management of that company much more than her.

NavigatorWife and Big Don Thank this.

Well to the op, if this happened to me, I would have said something about respecting my wife, told them to go to ********** and left. I expect them to answer her as if it was me, nothing less than that.

Maybe she was calling to find out how many girls work in the office! That her man could be talkin to. (Girls now adays are bat s*it crazy)

Point is, he is employed with them if there is a question about his work or payment it should be him bring it up and getting it resolved. Not having his "wife" run his life or his employment.
