I use VZnavigator on my phone and it's extremely accurate and the "TRUCK" mode is spot on.
-
i didn't know verizon offered trucking directions. when did that start up?
the one problem however, is you still need service. -
It's more of truck friendly routes and shows rest stop and diesel locations -
All these units are slapped together.
My Dezl:
Has station mispelled as "statin" for the SB I35 weigh station at Olathe Kansas.
Won't actually allow inputting of new truck stops, though I've saved it to that category, it won't come up in either of the Truck Stop searches; there's the Up Ahead search, and the Where To/Truck Locations/Truck Stop search, set to Along My Route. And, those searches return different sets of results.
It's In There, but I need to search the Truck Stop category of my saved searches.
Can't search on zip codes
Can't search on exit numbers
Can't force an Interstate Only route
Only one route offered between Detroit and Indianapolis, and it doesn't use US 24.
I am Not Impressed -
Here, Here! My CoPilot has put me in a jackpot on more than one occasion. Once on my way to Hunt's Point, it had me get off at the wrong exit. So now I was trying to navigate myself around the Bronx blindly. It kept trying to get me to make turns that were impossible. I finally got back on I-95 and went over the GW bridge to New Jersey, had to go south for 10 or 20 miles and turn back around and cross the GW again! Thanks CoPilot. Over $200 extra bucks wasted because they can't get their #### together.
Four days ago, while delivering to the Amazon Prime warehouse in Miami, it routed me to a residential area in Virginia Gardens. What an adventure that was! I had to drive in front of the police station and city hall, which was in the residential area. A "no trucks allowed" sign was posted. Luckily it was 3 am so no one saw me.
I can think of at least five more times where CoPilot has screwed me up. You get the picture. And I've only had it for 45 days! -
Pay attention. There's signs for hunts point. That's on you. And you only pay north bound. Still $105 though.Last edited: Jul 20, 2018

It may be on me, it may not. I didn't see any signs to Hunt's Point on I95S before CoPilot had me get off. Either way, CoPilot was wrong. Which is the point I'm trying to make. Thanks for letting me know that I saved $105 though. I'm having a Jameson in your name at the moment!

If you're looking for the perfect gps. You're on the wrong planet.
If you don't have the correct settings. Gps won't work accordingly to truck legal routes.
Copilot was the only gps I used my entire 7 years otr. -
Thanks for your insight. So I noticed several different CoPilots. One is North America, one is USA, etc. They both seem like they are the same. Which one do I need?
