US Xpress Driver Hits Building.. Tears Up Trailer .. on His 1st Day Out

I work at US Xpress. Road tested him at orientation. He needed improvement but I figured he'd get that with his trainer. Ugh !

 

I think his trainer must have been asleep in the bunk?

 

He was picking up his trainer from his other full time job.....Dollar Tree.

I am a firm believer that trainers need to be held a lot more responsible for the actions of their trainees. Maybe for only a month or so. But if a new driver does something as stupid as the one this thread is about, it is clear that he/she did not get the proper training needed. And a trainer should have known that this person was not ready for the road.

 

Shouldnt there have been a trainer out with him. Also i am not sure what it is he tried to do, did he try to back in?

 

Worst part is, look at the third pic with the Firetruck out in the distance, that is a straight shot into the parking lot and make a turn there? At least you would be away from the buildings.

 

Now that is how a builden should be made all the time.
A trailer distroyer.

The ex driver needs to go back to driving sports cars.
Trucks are not sport cars,
Trucks are distroyers of cars and smaller trucks.
