i'm in alabama and im searching for a flatbed company to drive for. I drove for Melton last year then i left to go overseas with KBR now that i'm back i'm finding it difficult to land a job and i'm sure it's due to the speeding ticket i got in my vehicle after i left Melton, and i got that ticket last year as well. it's a speeding ticket (20 over the posted mph) i was in a rural area where the speed changed and it wasnt a sign posted. i should have paid more attention. any suggestions? im looking for work. thanks in advance...

Contact an attorney, write a big fat check, and get that ticket reduced to something that will allow you to get a decent job.

20 over is pretty much a deal breaker for most insurance companies. They simply wont insure you.
If your overall record is pretty decent you can hire an attorney to petition a judge to strike it,.. or at the very least reduce it to something else. Your driving record is your livelihood. Right or wrong,.. ALWAYS fight every and any tickets.
I'm not perfect either and I am an avid car enthusiast. None of my personal vehicles have under 450hp. As such,.. self control and restraint is needed if you plan to make a career out of something where your driving record is the first window to your soul. You are and will always be judged by what people see on paper.
