And this one is stepping in right now. No more bickering. Others don't care to read that stuff.
Furthermore, we frown on "grammar nazis" here.

Matt, if the integrity of the information found in this thread turns into nothing more than the equivalent to listening to the CB radio at a truck stop parking lot (lies), than do not be surprised when the quality of the information being posted by others declines. Go ahead at let this guy make a fool of you. At least you will have more posts to your thread, which seems more important than honesty and integrity. I call a spade a spade and stick by my statement about the poster in question being a fraud.
The mods need not worry about this escalating as I will have no further comment about this poster being a fraud. -

Is this true? I see that Pottsville opened back up on the hiring site and my DH was about to apply but we read this. He is trying desperately to get away from night driving as that is the shift he has been on for 5 years and it is killing him. Do all DC's start the new guys on nights? Any insight would be most helpful!
-
No. Pottsville is a grocery DC. The drivers there pull dry loads and Reefer loads. Most Reefer loads are done over night. As far as working weekends, that part is true. Everyone has to start somewhere. If he were to apply to a GM DC such as Tobyhanna, then he would be on days. I am sure someone who runs either can give a better idea of how things work up there.
-
Thanks! He's not really worried about weekends, we totally get that he would be low man on the totem pole but nights is just so hard on a body and I personally think his body is at the limit. I appreciate the help!drozzer69 Thanks this.

Andrew, hope everything is OK with your family. How has it been over at Buckeye?
-
He would not work nights out of pottesville . Swift runs pretty much all of the overnight stuff. He would be on a 600 am , 800 am or 1000 am start time. I know several guys there and pull out of there a couple times a week .
