Worked here for a month. No miles no pay and all lies. They hook you up with a new truck then lie and set you. Please stay away from this company. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and it was the worst trucking experience I've had in 15 years.

Sometimes it pays to be a sport atleast for alittle while....
.... Having a wd40 additude goes a long way
.... Fill us in with more info
How long did this company have you camping in a parking lot?
What was the reasoning behind it?
.. What did they lie about?DriverMike1984, Veteran driver and TruckDuo Thank this. -
You obviously never asked for any money. I get layover all the time. 18 hours waiting on a chicken load? here's $125. Spend all day to load flowers in Miami, then wait on a team to relay with? Here's $125 and a 1300 mile load going to Texas. Got stuck for 4 full days on a 1100 mile load over a holiday weekend? Here's 3 days of layover ($375) plus the miles. That was on last week's check, $1700 gross, $1300 take home.
I guess good luck, but it's not the company's fault if you're not asking for layover and detention when it's due, they're not afraid to pay it, but you have to ask for it.roadhammer123, roadhammer123, Ssand Man and 2 others Thank this. -
I did ask for the layover and detention and was told I would get it but didn't show up on my statement. Kenny liked to lie and blow smoke up your ###. But what's good for one person isn't for the other. I'm with a company now and I do dedicated. Leave Birmingham go Fontana then load back to Atlanta. 44 cents per mile home every other weekend. Also I wasn't really thrilled with a 680. Not all its cracked up to be.

The lies where mostly about pay and miles. I like east west runs. Not east Midwest

Well sounds like you found a better outfit
.... Yup when a man agrees to pay you for your services
He should also be man enough to keep his word
... So you did the right thing by giving his equipment back to him....
I hope you didn't sock him in the eye even tho it sounds like he's got a black eye coming sooner or laterbethcates Thanks this. -
Too bad you had such a bad experience with tribe. I'm glad your happy now. I've been at this for 25 yrs and one thing I learned many yrs ago is that in trucking there is no silver lining. We must take the good with the bad. Jumping to different companies don't help you.
Ssand Man Thanks this. -
This is my third company in 15 years. I worked for Decker for 14 years. Just got burned out there.

I have always admired Tribe Express equipment. Clean n nice looking. I guess all that glitters is not gold.
bethcates Thanks this. -
Wow 14 yrs with decker. How are things now?
