I am starting class thru Schneider and want to know how much do you make the first year someone told me between 40k to 44k and you never at home because I have kids and want to see them

This will depend on a number of things - location, (east coast? west coast?), account (OTR, dedicated, regional?), solo vs. team, etc. Remember, the more home time you take, the less you're gonna make. SNI is a good company to start with.TennMan Thanks this.

I drove teams with my husband. They treated us really good. We each got our own pay. I got paid .38 per mile. My husband got paid .40 per mile because he had more experience than me. We got two brand new trucks over the year and a half that we worked there. We had loads waiting on us after we finished the current load. We got really good miles. We were out of the West Memphis OC. The dispatchers were nice. They never forced us to drive in unsafe conditions like if we were sleepy or the weather was bad

I Team with my son.....we average 5500-6500 miles a week. Do they treat us well. Yes!! Not sure how other companies are but we have few complaints.
If you have a good co-driver you can make a killin'...if there are issues than you may not be happy. We are out of Fontana and stay pretty busy!
