I got lucky me and my current co driver get along enough to make the truck move...still get irritated sometimes....but i can tolerate his bad habits.
You will get plenty of miles in the reefer division or on a team dedicated account.
Currently work for them and i get 5000 to 6000 miles a week. Take home about $1000 to $1200 a week depending on Your situation. That only happens if you and co driver are working in harmony.

    truckdriverswifega Thanks this.

I recommend he looks for a co driver before entering orientation. Maybe a good friend? Brother? That wants to drive team. There are a lot of people that get stuck at the terminal without a codriver and losing money.

My hometime depends. Covenant actually changed their hometime policy not too long ago. 1 day off for every 6 days out. 6\1...12\2....18\3....24\4...etc...

Sometimes i stay out 18out\3home. Sometimes longer. My manager is very good at getting me home on time. It helps if you live in a good freight lane. For example i park the truck in pomona, ca for hometime...and there is always loads going to california.

Definitely try to get a c0-driver lined up. I teamed up with the only other person that got hired out of our orientation class of 4.

Check out my thread called "My training experience here at Covenant" and then at the last post I put follow the link to my new one. There is some good info about how Covenant has been personally for me. Main thing is its the truth because I don't get paid to talk it up or anything like that, most threads about Covenant are unfortunately just people ranting and raving because things just didn't work out. There is good and bad with all companies.
