Need info on Highway Chemical Transport

    They are starting a new division in Rahway NJ. I will be the first driver they hire for that yard in Rahway.
    I'm just trying to figure out if this is the way to go. Never really heard of this company or even seen their trucks. Just would like know if anybody have any info on this company.

    I've been to their Croydon terminal and talked to some of their drivers and they always seem happy, plus they have a guaranteed pay every week if you commit to being available for a certain amount of days.. I live 5 mins from Rahway, I was looking into them as well.

    Only thing I don't like about them is those Mack trucks have a really small bunk. Are they hiring local guys from that location?

    Yeah I was told they need a few more drivers. I was told for the most part you're home every night. I don't really mind how small the bunk is because I don't plan on being out there like that. I have a family with small children. I'm just hoping the money is good. So tired of these conjured up numbers and you never reach them. Good luck and maybe we'll run into eachother.

    there website says system driver's are guaranteed 69k a year....interesting...

    I have been looking into them as well! I just filled out an online app last night. I live on Long Island and am currently working for YRC in Deer Park. I pulled a gas tanker around for 8 months back in 2013. I kinda want to do tanker again! LTL freight is kinda boring and monotonous! No thinking involved! Ha ha

    I have been with them for several months and so far so good. The guaranteed pay is nice, I always hated the up and down paychecks. As long as you follow their procedures you will do fine. They are very strict on that.

    Got a buddy working for them now out of the croydon terminal running the system and doing quite well also they do have some volvos.
