Thinking of putting in an application with Superior Tank Lines in Los Angeles. Tell me the good, the bad and the ugly about this company. They seem legitimate.

Decent company from what I've heard from their drivers, pay is decent $20 something an hour, overtime, plenty of work. The bad, apparently they micromanage everything, very strict on policies and procedures, no cell phone use at all even hands free, driver facing cameras, stuff like that, but most companies are strict in this line of work.

Well that's okay. I am used to micromanaging to the most severe extent. I couldn't think of anything better than driving around los angeles in the middle of the night , not putting up with the traffic and driving that sweet fuel tanker :)

Hey man I love it. Only problem is I start at 2pm so I gotta deal with the traffic for the first part of my shift. But after everything dies down it's great.

They seem like a good company, so do they have pretty decent schedules over there? And how are the medical benefits, are they pretty solid? Anyone know about the cost for medical over at Superior?

Superior has 5/3 off then 5/2 something like that. They have a rotating schedule so you get the weekend of every now and again, also days and nights as fuel hauling is 24/7/365. With that said yes you will work weekends and holidays just the nature of the beast but money shouldn't be hard to come by.
