when at a railroad crossing and arms are down, never go around, if caught, you can kiss your cdl good by. I call the state patrol and tell them the situation . I am trucker stuck at the tracks and need them to help back me out or get me thru. they show up or send out a railroad employee. Going down Donner's is nothing compared to some of the passes in Colorado, rule of thumb for me is slow and steady down the hill, if i have to go 15 mph so be it, I want to make it home. I haul equipment all around Colorado, I drive a 8 axle combination. Has anyone seen any footage of the wrecks up on I-80 this winter? look them up, you can actually hear the trucks hitting each other. good thread people. Be safe, drive your own way, and never let a 4 wheeler intimidate you.

Do you have any videos of driving situations in Englishj-speaking countries? I doubt heavy metal and a Russian accent will result in anything but damages.

I have to laugh at this last video u added. After watching the swift driver burning rubber to get off the ice, the video showed a Werner truck having to be towed out of a ditch. Just shows more reasons why I started this thread. It's hard to believe drivers weren't taught how to avoid these problems, obviously common sense doesn't enter into the equation; providing evidence that many companies & CDL schools are graduating drivers without the knowledge needed.

    BEWARE!
That song in the video is the truth boys! I've witness many a lot lizard racing out of trucks, even jumping over fences so as not to get caught stealing a wallet.

Or the driver didnt give a hoot, some companies might deem the problem as a preventable, its no different then getting stuck in the mud or anywhere else.. I wonder if the driver threw in some bleach
