I have a 94 Pete 379 with a CAT 5EK motor, just replaced all injectors, fuel lines and filters... Truck runs great as long as you are easing through the gears. While trying to do a hard accelerate the truck sputters and is now missing. What have I missed in trying to get her running smooth again???

Double check all your fittings on fuel lines. if loose, could be sucking air on heavy demand.

All fittings & lines have been checked. Curious if maybe this could be an electrical problem of some kind?

Checked the fuel pressure? Checked the fuel supply lines between the pump and the tank?

Hi Alaska, that would be my guess on a 20 year old truck. I've heard of rubber lines coming apart from the inside, restricting flow.

It sounds like injector seats in the head, need to be recut. They allow combustion to be forced into the fuel system.
The best way to check them, is to run a fuel return line from the head to the tank, by way of the windshield, with a sight glass (Grainger part # 1U892) in the line. Then as you drive, you can observe the returning fuel, and if you see air bubbles or foam in the fuel while it is misfiring, you know that combustion is getting into the fuel system. Also, the fuel tends to turn black, due to the combustion particles getting into the fuel.
