Hi. I am looking for a company to join. My driving and personal record is perfect but my biggest flaw is I have had my class A (with hazmat) since 2011 and I only have 7 months to show for it. Also, while I can drive 700 miles in a day no problem. Once I get to that truck stop or hub, my lead's backing up the truck because I suck at it. Anyway, my experience includes one month with Crst and 6 months with a now defunct furniture delivery company which can't be contacted to verify my experience. I have talked to multiple companies and they all flaked on me (Usxpress, Gordon) but today Knight contacted me and I enjoyed talking to the dispatchers who discussed putting me in the square program. Judging from the kindness of the dispatch on phone. I really liked what I heard. So I decided to look at a few threads and saw good things on this forum. But anyway. Anyone think considering my experience or lack thereof, Knight would be ideal? Or who knows. I can apply and just be forgotten as has happened with other large carriers

With your "lack of experience" the Squire program would be a good fit for you to brush up on your skills. I was a solo with Knight for a year and a half. They treated me well. Only left for a local job.

Anywhere you go is going to require you to go thru their training program. And since you admittedly can't back up, that will be a benefit to you.

I've never worked for knight, but I reckon they're as good as any and better than most.

For a mega, Knight is not bad. Nowhere perfect, but not many OTR outfits are. You could do a LOT worse, believe me.

You should go to Knight just so you can call yourself a Squire. [IMG]

If you prove yourself, you may earn your place at King Arthurs roundtable.

So that's the next progression from being a Squire huh ? Squire then the driver graduates to a Cuckold. Yikes ! [IMG]

It's the end result of being married to your job. :D

My marriage was the opposite, she griped when I was home too much.
