Sounds like my 5ek except that mine studders after the shift from 1700 rpm or greater. It pulls up to that point no problem. My fuel pressure is 70 at idle and goes above 120 at 1500 rpm. It's not fuel pressure in my case. I'm beginning to think an injector or two bad. Have you tried to cut out more than one injector at a time? Maybe the harness. Mine is looking old and it is as it's a 96 model.
