Hello everyone.
Thinking I will "diry" my experiences here as I prepare to begin my career (over again) with Steven's.
After 12 years of not being OTR Ihave decided to go back. The road is calling.
At this moment I am doing my final range evaluation here at TDI in Milton Florida. Everything is going very well so far.
Tomorrow morning I will be taking my CDL driving exam at 7:30 AM. Not too worried about that as a lot of it seems to of been muscle memory has come back, however I am not so overconfident that I'm not paying attention to what my instructors have taught me.
Once I am through the pre-trip I think all will be good.
July 5th I will be reporting to Dallas for orientation. I am excited at the possibilities and look forward to becoming a part of this team.
Nice to meet you all.
12 years off, going to start back Steven's style..

Thank you both. Excited, I am.
Did my final range evaluation today and only lost one point (they give no free pullups on the range eval).
Pre-Trip, Road Test, and Skills test tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. Now if my better half would just quit sounding like a turbo whining down the road..perHAPS I could get a good nights sleep!

Said goodbye to some great folks today at TDI in Milton Florida. These guys are top notch. Also, the folks I went through school with. We had a blast.
Received our graduation packets today after we went to the DMV to het our Class A's.
They were all talking about their transcripts and the final average "grade". I didnt look at mine until we all left and I heard them say theirs.
I had an unfair advantage because I have done this before so I excluded myself from that conversation....
However, when I did look I was pleased to see I got "Top Dog" with a 95.(something) overall score. Makes me feel good and I hope this success continues.
I look forward to the intensity I have heard about this training program. I could have easily gone somewhere that I would have my own truck in 3 weeks or even less. But, I want to be safe. What I have read makes me feel like this program will assist me in accomplishing that.
I know I am not even at orientation yet, but I am already feeling the Steven's KoolAid running through my veins. I had many choices, but I chose Steven's, and they accepted.
Looking forward to pahes 2 of my new learning cycle.

Good Luck.
Remember, patience is a virtue. There will be days you will be shaking your head wondering,"what have i gotten myself into".
Keep your ears open and soak it all in.
.Kevin Lewis Thanks this.
