Walmart here I come!

I have the pre trip and driving test in searcy, AR tomorrow. What should I expect

 

Hi, I'm in the early stages of my background / check. Will WalMart notify me when I'm all clear? Should I just wait for email or call ? Thanks

 

Wow !!! Congrats to all the folks who are either hired, or who are successfully working their way through the process !!! Sometimes I think the process is partially designed to weed out those who do not have patience, and who will not fit well within the Walmart Transportation family.

I was a wreck when Rick was going through it. He was so calm and positive, and kept telling me "it is our turn."

He was right.

Hi , did my PreTrip / Road Test this past Monday. Just Relax & do your thing. Always use 3 point contact in & out of the truck. Check your Registration etc. Triangles, Permits, Fire Ext. make sure to check its charged & inspection tag & it's secure . During the Parking part, Take your time, get out & look, be safe. More then 4 Pull-ups not accepted. During the Drive, use plenty of Following Distance. No Rush, No Tailgating. Once Instructor sees you know what your doing during the PreTrip, he or she will say move on to the tires, breaks etc. Once u get started, it gets more relaxing. Just do your thing & be safe.

 

Line hauler.. that email you got has a link to where you enter your user name/password it takes some time to complete I'd check in a week see if it says competitive, I waited a couple weeks after being competitive to call down to Bentonville. My hold up was the clinic forgot to upload my drug screen

 

Thanks, yes I went in line & updated my password , electronic signature & submited. I answered all the criminal questions.

The waiting is the hardest part...but hang in there

 

Give them a complete pretrip as you always do.But they want you to tell them what your checking as you do it. The oral presentation is the hard part...Good luck
