Well fella I'm not stupid enough to send my E Mail address to people I don't know. Why don't you just explain this wonderful sliding pay scale and all the rest of the details that allows you to take home $1400 a week and $800 a week when your home for 4 days in a week. I can do the math and figure it out for myself. If your a company driver how can you avoid TYSON and FARMLAND loads? So you you pull reefer freight but you never have to sit for hours waiting to get unloaded? What kind of detention pay do they pay you and how long do you have to sit until they will pay it to you? So you claim for your best week your take home pay was $2500. How did you do that running electronic logs?

Wow. Nasty attitude you got. If I'm home for a week I get zero. I actually owe. So I may have mis typed that. What I meant is my first week back I usually get around 800 as I start my week off on a Monday and if that load delivers before the midnight cutoff on Tuesday I don't send that load in and let it ride as to help have a descent check that week. As far as the sliding scale. Go online to the website and look for yourself because I imagine if I told you you would either not believe me or you'd come back snarky again. And I said I was lease, not company. As far as detention pay. I haven't seen one dollar of it since I started here in October. I gripe about that but never too much as I'm making a good living. Believe me or not. Your choice. I don't really care. Just ask any current Hirschbach driver. Heck. I saw a guys check here for over 3k one week. And it wasn't a skip payment either. So.....

No you never.said you where a lease driver. You referred to cpm., which made me think your a company driver And your msg referring to me as a fella . annoyed me. I am not one of your fellas. I won't ask what you make for a.living or ask any more questions from you. I have no interest in looking at the HIRSHBACH website. I drove for them before and won't go back again. You make a few bold statements about your big pay checks like $2500 for one week. Good for you. You never answered if they still give the agility test when you take your prehire DOT physical, or whether they still make the driver sign a paper that says the driver pays the first $1000 of any freight damages caused by a reefer malfunction the driver did not discover when under a load. Good.luck to you in your lease purchase.

I'm glad you mentioned the 1000 for a reefer failure as I've never heard about it before. I'll check up on that. No. There was no agility test or sleep apnea study. And your right. I didn't mention lease. My bad. Thought I had. The pay statements are very accurate though. And thanks for the well wishes. However I have no plans on owning this truck when the lease is complete as they have a huge balloon payment. I just like the freedom of being able to choose my loads and the money is enough for me to save up to buy my own truck. A truck that I want. This thing is an automatic and the rear end sux. Drive safe and get home enough to enjoy your life.

Lol. No not every two weeks. Every week

Well they.must have done away with the agility test and the $1000 the driver has to cover on a freight claim. I remember everyone I was in orientation with was super pissed off about it. Especially when we found out about it at orientation. Did not know about the agility test until we took the physical. I remember one guy who was about age 59-60sh was furious. He had bad knees and was very overweight. Part of the test was crawling up and down a hallway on your hands and knees for about 50 feet. They didn't do a sleep apnea test. Anyhow good luck and safe travels to you.

Pay per mile is on a sliding scale per trip. I believe it's 900-1000 miles 1.00 p/m. 800-900 1.10. 700-800 1.20 and so forth. Plus I only pay .99 per gal on fuel.

It's good here, but I won't blow smoke up your rear. Just got paid and they left a 900 mile trip off of my settlement. Now I won't see that till next week. I did 3400 miles last week. So after deductions and also the missing pay on that 900 mile trip. I'm only taking home just under a grand. Should have been a 1800.00 check this week
Air Breeze Thanks this.
