btc aka builders transportation or jordan carriers

Thread bump.

I am going to call them on Monday and find out if they hire out of San Antonio, TX. Any info on these guys? I'm pretty sure they are an all automatic fleet. Do they get you home most weekends.

I'm looking for a company that has equipment that can pass Inspection by the DOT, get me home on the weekends, and pays $10.00 a mile .

Any info would be great!

 

Most definitely NOT an all automatic fleet. I drove here for years and have since moved in house as one of the DMs. We do hire from the San Antonio area, and, yes we do get our drivers home most weekends. In the entire 3 years that I drove here I was only out for one weekend and it was by choice. Now, as far as the fleet goes, our trucks are all 2011 Macks or better intermingled with a few Internationals. The 2011 models are being traded now every day to make way for the new 2016's that we have ordered...everyone of the new trucks that are coming in are automatics but, as of right now, we only have 5 out of 350 and the guys that have those love them so much that there is now way they would give one up.

He is with BTC and the all auto fleet was in reference to Jordan.

Jordan would hire me but they wouldn't commit to me being home most weekends. I have loaded/unloaded with plenty BTC/Jordan/Maverick/Boyd etc. Nothing made one seem any better or worse then the other. I live in a black hole as far flatbedding for a big company and being home on the weekends.

As luck would have it I ended up getting an end dump job local. Start Monday.

Call BTC.I woked there 20 yrs. They will get you home MOST weekends. Plus you can work % or cpm. TAKE %. When you work cpm there is a built in ceiling because you can legally drive X miles in a week. There is no ceiling on %.
