It's comparable to me going in the kitchen and trying to instruct my wife how to fix dinner.

I've had her a while and always super great loads, and all her replies were "super nice" too nice, they always reminded me of the Seinfeld episode with Lloyd Braun, Serenity Now... Well this week she let loose,
Plus my miles are way below their monthly standards, but with breakdowns, short loads and my increased hometime They're going to stay lower

Plus the other trucking job I applied to still wants me, but staying here for now allows me to take a week off at a time, and I hAte switching trucks or even jobs.

Maybe we should all switch to Schneider Choice so we can all be regional drivers.

It's a fifth wheel so I can even pretend to be a truck driver while pulling the RV.

I must say I had one of the better AMs in Crete's pool of idiots.

    Ugh, fifth wheel,

AARGH, I dropped my load today, only 2 empties were there, a red propaganda trailer and a plain trailer with a leaky roof.
I get a decent preplan, picks up from 9 to 18:00 today (eastern time) and 120 miles west, so the TA (90 miles west) says it'll be a while to get the roof fixed.
I let Lincoln know I may be late for pickup, find out it's a 24 hour shipper!!! So I tell them I'll be good for pickup and I'm pulling in the shop, trailer gets fixed and my preplan got voided while I was waiting in the lounge.
Next preplan loads east of my delivery, at 22;00 Sunday night, I accept, and have them fix my empty miles, around 210 instead of the 85. They void the load, too much deadhead, I get a 500 miler and an instant void message, ugghhg!!!
I gave up, time for my daily excercise, a walk to Quacker Steak and Lube.
    Life is good.
But why can't the load planners put the actual times on the load info, I picture them placing 24 numbered beads up their ### and then farting the beads out and the farthest bead is the pickup time.

    runningman0661 and Dinomite Thank this.
