Ummm....no. That wouldn't be a good idea at all. The terms and conditions of membership here preclude any type of advertising.

I see it is against the forum rules to self-promote, but people can look at my profile for my info. My Thuli table has been my pride and joy since only four months after graduating from chiropractic school. 15 years later, it still works like a charm minus some cosmetic damage. I specifically wanted a Thuli because I am a Thompson technique practitioner and I also do upper cervical toggle work. Only the Thuli table headpieces can accommodate both techniques. Oddly enough, just as you were posting your reply, someone was calling me to schedule an appointment (house call) for me to go to their home to do their D.O.T. physical. When I do them at a person's private home, I do the exam IN their home.

It's also against the rules for you to post your contact info in your profile. Consequently, your profile information has been edited.

If it is against the rules to post contact info in my profile, why does it ask for it when setting up the profile? You should change that.

maybe a clearer picture of the back of your van might do the trick your contact info just happens to be in it. not really advertising just showing off your mobile van ;-)

I'd really like to see chiropractors, clinics, and detsits at truck stops.

Or at least if chiropractors, clinics, and dentists advertised at truck stops that were near by with special fast services for truckers and perhaps a ride to and from their location. I'd be willing to pay extra for that. Just don't rip me off, but I'll pay a decent price for that convenience.

Actually, as of today I am working on the next step up -- getting a small travel trailer and making that into an office. It takes me about an hour and a lot of energy to set up the tent and the power going to it. What isn't so visible in the picture is my solar panel strapped to the roof of the van or how junked up the inside of the van looks when the tent isn't set up.

Chiropractic "medicine" = manipulation of joints in a manner and practice the joint was not designed to be manipulated in!

    Good afternoon doctor,

I recently had to get a DOT physical and drug & alcohol test. I searched for a week through the national directory of certified medical examiners in the southern California area. While researching, I found the most attractive places where the ones that could perform all the tests, offered a package price or package discount, had short wait times, clean offices, and professional staff. The place I went to worked like an assembly line, the staff was not sociable, but I kind of preferred it that way because it made for a no-hassle process that was quick and easy. The waiting room stayed full with a steady stream of truckers/patients which seemed to work out well for the D.C. Hope some of this is useful.
