The real problem is, I do all I can to make SURE that I dont get into any trouble that MIGHT affect my CDL. I dont want to pay higher insurance, or lose my CDL. This means THINKING before I act. Thats the problem I see here. If you want to do those things fine, but it shows you have extremely poor decision skills. Not who I want driving a ford escort, let alone 80,000lbs down the road.
misterG Thanks this. -

I don't know what country you're living in but 150K wouldnt make me financially secure and I'm frugal.

So you like drugs? Suggest you sell the truck for now, it might even be hard to find a company that will even let you hire a driver to drive the truck and lease you on,,
Back when Pot was only $75 a pound I decided that I would rather make money than smoke the ole' herb,,You make a bad mistake and now if you are serious to make your life better and never do drugs again you got a while until you can recover from the bad mistake,,
Sit down and figure how much money it cost you / -
I personally think weed should be legal. Don't think Marijuana should be part of a DOT drug test.
Alcohol had killed millions
Tobacco has killed millions more
People are overdosing left and right on prescription drugs
Marijuana deaths....zero
Too many truckers are ignorant of the facts and judge pot smokers while they use alcohol, cigs, prescription drugs in some cases.
God made marijuana, to suggest that it's bad is to suggest God made a mistake.
More and more states are legalizing it not by the politicians , but by the voters at the ballot box.
I don't smoke weed, but if it were to come to a vote in Texas I would vote to legalize it.
Until it's legalized at the federal level I'm afraid the persecution of truck drivers that choose it as a safer alternative to alcohol/tobacco will continue.
Just say know!!!dog-c, mrdot and SLICKVICK76 Thank this.
