Drug convictions

I don't believe cigarettes have an effect on someone's motor skills like pot does. Yeah cigarettes kill people, by means of cancer, not slowing ones reaction times

 

I don't advocate driving a truck while stoned. But when a driver is off duty it's safer to smoke a joint than to drink alcohol. Marijuana has medical benefits for those with Cancer, aids,epilepsy,PTSD, Depression.

Alcohol and Cigarettes have no medical value whatsoever.

I agree. The pot laws are ridiculous. It's all about politics and money. They make more money off of it being illegal for the time being. As we speak, they are determining how much money it will make them to legalize it then comparing that to how much money it makes them to keep it illegal. Apparently they have thus far determined it makes them more money keeping it illegal. Plus it justifies all that grant money from the the federal government to alphabet agencies like the DEA and local police departments. Without weed, you're taking away a huge chunk of the financial pie for the cops and cities. If pot were made legal, then the cops would have to go after real criminals like hard drug dealers and violent people. If there is one thing cops are scared of its real criminals and those who will maybe shoot back at them.

im sure there have been. But it's not like the cops are going after the big fish or busting the dealers. They're always going after the users. As is the case with most drugs. They are scared to go after real fish because they bite. The vast majority of people in prison are in for drug possession. Typically habitual offenders who always get caught with small amounts and the judge finally puts them away.

 

It's also a great cure for boredom and the monotony of life. Smoke a doob and listen to your favorite CD. Makes it sound so much better. Roast a bowl and wash your car. Be the cleanest it's ever been. When I smoked pot years ago, it always made the most mundane everyday tasks much more fun to do.

 

They go after the users cause thats the easiest way to the dealers. I dont want anyone near me thats been smoking pot, I aint been around it since I was in high school, I value what I have in my life and last thing I need is for some cop to cry that im guilt by association.

 

It's also a great cure for boredom and the monotony of life Years ago had 2 IDIOT NEIGHBOURS who partook in heavy useage of weed , in the winter they would spend all day getting their old clunker of a car started then would be so baked had no clue why they started it or where they had planned on going so would shut it off and next day do it all over, sure beat my boredom just watching a real life CHEECH and CHONG production
