I reached 1.5 milions miles today, Volvo 780/Volvo D13/2008

Nothing perfect about Volvos, I'm also surprised is still running, i had problems in first years with emission sensors, injector cups; but was my fault also; remember in 2007 was hard to find ULSD everywhere , i used to pull loads through prairies run out of ulsd and filled up with whatever in found, i messed the emission system, the dash blinking like a Christmas tree screaming "EJECT,EJECT,... lol,

I replaced EGR valve 3 times; the DPF filter cleaned once at 400k, replaced it once at 900k and I didn't clean this one yet; the Cam was not realy gone, but when I did injectors last year they noticed lob wearing;

I was light l aprox. 9,000lbs, dry van flat road, from Laredo TX to the moment I took this photos, north of Memphis on I-55 N; the dash can be off 0.2-0.3 mpg but I get yearly average around 8mpg , winter Sumer and I'm governed to 65mph/ (105 kmph Ontario Law) ; I use Rotella T6 synthetic oil only, 30-35,000 miles ,sometimes I change filters only around 18k; never used Lucas or other oil additives; I buy oil by gallon from Wall Mart, Meijer and do the change in places I know the technicians; I had problems with my last truck with bulk "synthetic" from some lube shop;

I have same 8 drives, low RR, good tire ; here my secret ; this light foamy Crocs shoes on acceleration ;
