We are on boarding three drivers now and I was standing in the room when safety mentioned it. Nothing other than what we already know.

Hello everyone. First time here. Just my input on Walmart.
I have applied at wal mart otr driver position. 2 weeks later I was called and asked if I'm still interested in that position? Ofc I did answer "yes". Lady, then scheduled the interview with the recruiter week later. They called me with bunch of questions. All questions was about my experience on the road, ect. Anyway, after the interview was done they put me on the hold for a min. Came back on line with congratulations. He said that he would send my docs to the Lagrange ga dc after I have passed that interview. 2 weeks later I got called for pre trip/driving test. Went up to Lagrange and met with hr manager and safety manager and some other folks before doing my test. After completing some docs and talking to them,we went out on the lot and started the pre trip test. Passed pre trip and asked to park the trailer in one of the empty spots on the lot then pull on the scales and then out on the road through the town for the road test. They would take me through the stop signs, traffic lights, sharp turns, narrow roads ect. Did all that. Passed everything. Went back to the yard, parked and got congratulations by the guy that went with me on the test. Back in the hr,they gave me the docs to take it for drug, physical test. Run down few miles and finished it off. Brought the paperwork back with my new medical card and drug, physical test. After that they send me home. Now I'm just waiting for the final offer. Supposed to be getting the call today. Then out on the orientation to Lagrange ha dc. Everything was done in about 3 weeks.
I was independent driver for 14 years.
No accidents in 14 years, no tickets AT ALL in those 14 years. Super clean record. 2.3 mill miles on my record. Cheers everyonedrozzer69, Line Hauler 101 and jtg80 Thank this. -
