If you don't have a functional address within the radius you won't be hired for that dc. Functional adress will probably need to show a lease or mortgage in your name as well as drivers license for that state as well. Lots of questions for new applicants to be asking.

Line Hauler 101 and drozzer69 Thank this.

That's what I got told. Anyway the call was to let me know that they got everything and they are submiting my packet to the dept head. Once he gives the approval, they will call me to schedule the orientation.

I live in Tampa fl and my application is for Lagrange Ga. It's about 460 miles from the dc. They haven't told me anything about that rule. They told me that I'm still good to go for Lagrange Ga.

Well it was just announced this week and it's the new policy. We have 4 guys being transferred out asap that don't live within the radius. Might want to consult with HR.

Sounds a bit harsh to transfered out because of this. You get used to the atmosphere at your own DC and now have to deal with a different DC. I wish those who have to transfer the best at there new locations.

I know. I am glad where I am at. Other dcs do things a little bit different from your own. Either way I am sure things will all work for anyone involved.

grabberblue12 and Line Hauler 101 Thank this.
