uniden pc76xl problems

I have a pc76xl radio that powers on but no reception. Mic keys up but no transmit either. Do you thunk I may have a bad final.

Have you checked the easy (albeit easy to miss) things like the CB/PA switch, or the wrong microphone for that radio? By "no reception", do you hear noise but no talking, or no sound from the speaker at all? RF Gain pot is all the way up, Squelch knob all the way off?

It could be a broken wire in the Mic.

Yep, "first fix" is check all the knobs, "2nd fix", swap mics. Still nothing? Sell it to me cheap and go buy another one.
