Since when? Ive changed my status from sleeper to on duty right as my clock changes over at 10 hrs, no need to wait for 10hr15min. The only log violation ive taken was driving past my 8 or 10 for a couple of minutes due to lack of a safe place to pull off.

This is why i left when I did, they were pushing a rookie of 5 months to start training right away at me 6 months, i refused to but they wouldnt lay off about it

They must have thought you had something to offer; I'd take it as a compliment, no one has asked me yet.

I did take it as a compliment, however i dont believe anyone with less than 5 yrs of driving should be training anyone to drive. Thats how people get killed.

You're right, and I am not looking to become one anyway, so hopefully they don't start badgering.

A side comment: I was at Des Moines for TQM last month and a guy that was in my class was there too, when I walked by his truck I noticed he was already a trainer as it is emblazoned under the name on the side panel. He was in a similar situation as me; left a career he had been in for some time, went to driving school, and came to TMC for his first driving job, within eleven months he is a trainer!! How the hell does he, or TMC for that matter, think he has the appropriate knowledge and experience to be a competent and professional trainer? Unthinkable.

hes got decently high revenue to the truck, hes not wrecked the truck, hes been out west across the rockies, and hes expressed the need for more money.
This is what they said was needed to be a trainer other than the main requirements. They specifically told me that if I wanted to make a consistent amount over 1100 weekly, I would have to become a trainer. That was when I started looking elseware.59EX Thanks this.
