Article explained fuel cost as a percentage of total revenue, care to share yours. For 2014 my fuel cost was 19 % of total revenue. -
That was just a rough guesstimation but, Interesting to know that your 09 didn't average that much better with all the fuel saving equipment equipped.
I wouldn't even begin to know how to fix a new truck with all the computer systems running everything. Expecially the headlights. -
The problem with this is you are basing your opinion on the myth that the big fleets only pull cheap freight. Not sure how this rumor survives when they posts their line haul rates for any and all to see.

He should be fine the T660 has been available only as a glider for a few years now.

That's a very good point. 30% was always where I wanted to be on revenue spent on fuel the past few years. I need to get a ytd fuel report from the company but am reasonably sure this year I am close to 20% myself. I know there were weeks that I did the math it was around that. Fuel being cheaper has put more money in my pocket this year. Finding good rates was more challenging though.

Checked this year thru June my fuel is 14% of revenue.
-
Put it on the road in January, been treating me very well so far.

No, it's not a glider.
Paccar 455 hp, 1650 tq
Eaton 13 spd ultra shift plus ( cause I enjoy auto-mation
)
3.08 rears.
Specked for fuel economy, but in no way dissatisfied with performance. I am very satisfied with this drive train.Last edited: Jul 5, 2015
unholy7 Thanks this. -
nice. a paccar+13 speed+450-475hp is about as far as i'd go specing for fuel economy.
