My Wilson 5000 magnet mount just broke the mag came apart and now my swr is ####.
I want to permenatly mount a 5000 trucker but what's best to use for a roof mount?
The Wilson gumdrop mount or the HD stud mount?

The gumdrop stud is to be avoided. The HD stud is a lesser quality knock-off of a much better stud which you can get through Mark Sherman @ Fine Tune CB.

Ok well I got the HD stud and drilled a hole and got my antenna up but now my swr is way over 3:1 what is going on?
Did I put the mount on my roof wrong? -
Why not buy another mag? As long as there's nothing wrong with the coil. The coil will unscrew from the mag base, and you can just set it on another mag mount.
Or you can buy a so239/ pl259 hard mount, which is even better. Your coil will screw right on one...
like this one...

They don't sell the mag mount anywhere near me, I wanted to hard mount this Wilson 5000 trucker but my swr is way way way over 3 no matter what I do.
Could the antenna be defective? No shops are open till tomorrow and I need it now -
-
I know the mount is to small but that's not the issue right now.
-
Is that the coil from the mag mount? If so, you have added length with the shaft below it. The whip will have to be adjusted accordingly.

No that's the trucker 5000 that I just bought to replace the mag 5000
