Is there another industry that has a bureau that can badmouth employees after they leave? Remember that one if we all decide to go on vacation the same week.

 

Well if you were not hated by all, you could just give contact info for someone there who would give you good reference, maybe a dispatcher?
I told an outfit to stick it several years ago, and the head of dispatch (now the VP) has givin me good reference for life, because I worked hard!

Otherwise, I would just fill out the app and explain the circumstances. Have no clue how much exp you have, but if less than 3 yrs then most of the jobs you will get are not going to heavily scrutinize that application, but will shove it in there file cabinet to prove they are compliant with the laws that be.

Well I am not advocating anything....yet....

Put a rebuttal into DAC, but you got fired for unjust reasons. To me that sounds like a lawsuit for wrongful termination. Include that into a DAC rebuttal, that you are suing for wrongful termination compensation. (even if you do not seek that path).

A potential employer that subscribes to DAC may want to actually ask you what happened, rather than to pass up your application.
