I was at the Wal-Wart in Temple, TX 4 hrs before my appt time. Pulled up to the gate 1 hr before so I can get checked in. A BIG line of trucks and one SLOW ### guard. I did not get to the window till 5 min past my appt time because of them being so #### slow. They still were trying to mark me as late. I told the lady at the office what went down with the SLOW guard and she said that was not a reason to be late and that was my fault not Wal-Marts and wanted me to give another reason. I stuck to my guns and did not back down. I was not going to take the heat for being late because they took 50 min to check me in. I hate the D/C they think that anytime there is a problem with a driver that they are NEVER WRONG and it is always the drivers fault. That is the most messed up outfit I have ever delievered to.

It is even worse delivering to one of there stores. I pedaled booze for 10 years. At walmart every box had to be opened. So you go in with a pallet of one thing, say 50 cases. open and re-stack every darn box while some dimwited fool stand there with a scanner thinkin it's funny. I dont miss that. Some deliveries would by 300 hundred cases or so total.

I was an unloader at the Tomah DC fom 01" to 05". They pay well but are not a great place to work. All drivers needed to be escorted to their dock, and I escorted some pretty pissed off drivers.

I've been to this DC 4 times. All with time sensitive produce loads. I have always been put straight into the door and out within 2 hours. They have even allowed me to sleep for 6 hours in the bobtail area when I ran overnite from NJ to get load in on time. Nothing but good experience at THIS Walmart DC. We will not get into some of the others....
