run of the mill company OTR drivers nope not really.
I got my experience and GTFO out of that.
What's the average OTR job pay for experienced driver? .40?
120,000 miles at .40 is $48,000 a year to live in a truck your whole life.
Not worth it in my opinionLast edited: Jul 10, 2015

Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
who is a "run-of-the-mill" driver?
Certainly not me. I run 1/2 those miles and make about 40% more than you quoted....AND I am home 2 to 3 days a week. Not bad for a "company" driver, huh? -
You need better glasses...
I said "run of the mill company OTR drivers"
if you're home 2-3 days a week you're not OTR -
I'm not? Hell, I run about 8 mid-west states......And I guess you missed the part where I said (let me quote it for you incase you suffer from Optical-rectalitis) "who is a "run-of-the-mill" driver?" Let me break-it down for you; I never said "I" was a "run-of-the-mill" driver.

I don't see where you're trying to go with this...
This thread is titled OTR and my comment was about OTR company drivers.
Someone can be a "run of the mill" company local tanker or LTL driver and earn more on less miles than OTR company drivers.
