Wow,that driver just...Wow all I can say not my place to judge the driver.

 

Yeah, i was a bit confused myself.

 

If you don't have enough money to file a small claims lawsuit, I have two options.
1) File a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General.
2) Next, call the IL Bar Association. (www.isba.org) Ask them to help you find an attorney to represent you for free (pro bono). If you call the AG's office, make sure you do that BEFORE filing a lawsuit, not after.

Start a crowd fund for legal fees. I will donate and a lot of others will to. Tell your story here and on YouTube in detail and ask for help. If you are really righteous on this and you really want to punish the bad guy, then be proactive, spend some effort in the direction I suggest and you will definitely get some support.

 

Take a look online at Illinois Labor laws and in most states you can file a claim ONLINE. If you have ALL of your documentation, the State will Generally enforce the labor laws at NO COST to you. It might take some time from start to finish (my last employer battle lasted 2 1/2 years - but I won and collected)

 

He probably won't need to do all that, if he has all of his documentation, generally file a complaint online with the State Labor board and THEY handle it at no cost to the employee.
