My BEP is $2.545 for all odometer miles.

You asked regarding BEP if owners lived in different areas of the country: so do you pay someone more because of where they live?

Having a high cost of living expense doesn't equal higher wages by default. Nor does lower cost of living.

When looking for an employee: do you ask what there expenses are to determine what you'll pay them? If one potential employee lives at home with his parents and they pay very bill he has, but is just as qualified as te sole bread winner for a family of 8: do you offer the first guy less money because he has lower expenses? No. You pay what the market bears for that particular job title.
What someone makes in relation to what their expenses are isn't relevant. Lots of folks spend beyond their means.

As a potential employer/carrier leasing I/C's you pay what the market will bear for the work you have to offer. Your rate will be great money to some, will put some into the poorhouse, and will be too paltry a sum to consider working for others.
