$200,000 flat out impossible even with benefits included. Top rate isn't much compared to Ups or Usps.

Edit replying to don. Thats why i said this thread is funny

Yeah I have to say UPS Parcel feeder driver and Walmart are the highest in the industry as a company driver. My guess would be 150k range. Maybe that's too high or low of a guess cause those guys will never let you know what they get. They are 100k+ for sure. To hit that 150k range you have to be there for awhile too.

Was told they deliver anything from Amazon over $150. Tales of delivering treadmills into customer's houses and having to set them up and put them together kinda turned me off.

Wow, really? Man I got my cdl to get away from doing stuff like that. Reminds me of when I used to do deliveries when I worked at Rent-A-Center.

There just isn't an LTL that could pay you enough to make that worth your while. I used to have to deliver a few appliances from the homely depot now and then, but it was either to the curb, the garage, or the front door, depending on circumstances.
In fact, our company policy was that we did not go into homes for any reason. Nor did we negotiate stairs for any reason.
Too many worker comp claims with that crap.

Yes, this is true! I've done it before. It sucks but, the pay, pension and benefits are worth it. They pay you well to do this kind of stuff, Teamster wages.

I get all that stuff at my current job, was just looking for more money. Didn't seem worth it in the end to work 3x as hard and have a horrible schedule

Still ABF isn't horrible as you make it sound. Oh noes a little bit of labor and the 2 for 1 does suck.

    Crying over something is short
Term. Still get pto and great wages off probabtion. Quite being a whiny kid lol

What would the schedule have been being new? I have an app in with them currently.

Think I'll just stay where I'm at and you can go bust your ### there if you want. I was just shocked by how unpleasant the job sounded to me, which is completely subjective. No need to be pejorative. If the job was so amazing, they would not be constantly hiring. Were looking for 5 drivers the day I was in there last. Guess in the end, it helped bring into focus how good I have it at my current job. Sometimes the grass IS greener on the other side, but only because it's covered in sh#t

Full-time, just whatever shift they needed you. So assume lots of night shifts and every holiday they work
