I'm desperately looking for a local job in Southern California (Heck I'd consider Bakersfield even) or in Phoenix. Don't care how hard the work is, where I go or what I do, so long as I get home daily. I've got a spotless personal record, never had any accidents but I've got a couple of speeding tickets on my record that are just barely not quite 3 years old. These tickets were right before I began driving a truck and were in my own personal car. This has kept me from getting a lot of jobs (I've been told such to my face from many employers). I'm honest, hard working, on time and never had any issues in a tractor trailer.
Even if anyone knows some one, who may know some one, who might know some one. Truck driving is all I really know, I'm very good at it and take pride in my ability in it. Some day I hope to get a business degree and help run a trucking company but that day is far away. Right now I want to continue getting experience driving a truck and being able to be home at night. I have the means available right now to relocate to Southern California where a lot of my family is, but I'm also happy in Phoenix (where a lot of my other family is).
I've been offered jobs with big companies in different locations but I REALLY don't want to move some where that gets cold. I like warm weather and sunshine (heck I'd probably move to Florida because of that) and I know I wouldn't be happy in places like Denver, Chicago, Seattle, etc.
Just looking for some one who will just give me a chance.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
