female thinking about going to trucking school ?

I delivered to grocery stores , convenience stores, walmarts ( hated the walmarts, harder to get in and out of) but most in my trucking school had already signed on the dotted line and had to go with the company that was paying for their school, they were jealous as hell when I got the local gig.

 

I don't feel like reading all the comments, but The Texas Workforce Commission will pay for your truck driving school... idk if someone already stated that or not

LOL that's great if you're from Texas.

 

Because if you find out that you hate the company you picked you can move on without being stuck with a huge schooling bill and harassment.

Haven't heard that though. Any links or any info of how that works exactly?

It's hard to believe that 100% of people in Texas can go for free.

Maybe low income assistance, I can see that.

As a taxpayer I really don't want to pay for everyone to go to school when 80% will wash out.

And when you're getting it for free you're not gonna fight as hard for it.

You should have skin in the game.
