Hey everyone, just wondering how often a clutch should need to be adjusted under normal wear and tear conditions?

Went on line and Eaton stated that a clutch should have around 13 adjustments over its life span.

If you are driving OTR where you drive 4to 500mi then exit, clutch will need to be adj. or distance B/tween throw out bearing and pressure plate much less than a truck that is driven on 2 lane roads in stop and go traffic every day that would need to be ck. each mo.

All depends on the driver and conditions

When your free travel on the clutch pedal is almost gone. Typically your clutch pedal should have anywhere from 3/4" to 1 1/2" of free travel. It's been a while but I think your clutch brake should activate about 1/2" or so from the floor.

Only if you have a link clutch.
Hydraulics don't appear to have play
