I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Have gotten mixed responses from the Facebook crowd re my impending cancellation of my account. The only ones I care about are the few who PMed me their contact info so we can all keep in touch the old fashioned way.

One guy told me that Facebook wins if I let them run me off. I'm not running--I'm just taking my cue from Henry David Thereau: Simplify, simplify.

Several folks got a link to this thread so you'll probably be watched by some of the non-trucking crowd.

Got a load of paper going to Cleveland (eep!) due Wed but I'll be there tomorrow.

Planning on showing up and doing all my communication through interpretive dance. I'll let you know how that turns out.

Was running close to 24hrs early, got delivery moved up, now I deliver in Cleveland tomorrow at 0930. At the service plaza on I80 just below the city, 26mi from rec. Laundry, shower, sleep, breakfast, zip over to delivery, short hop across town to pick one up going to North Chicago, then probably up to Pleasant Prairie WI start a run to Coppell Texas or maybe Buford GA. Easy day today except for some nasty thunderstorms on I77 in OH. Easy day tomorrow, except for Cleveland, because Cleveland.

Posted on FB that I'm deleting my FB account. Everybody is losing their minds. Most of my "friends" aren't PMing me their contact info or asking for mine. They're just complaining that I'm abandoning them. Almost feels like I'm leaving a cult.

Most of them wouldn't hold a door for me in person anyway. This place is more fun.
