Interesting. I never got charged.
-
Explanation to me on how much they charged for over idle.
By the hour, every hour burnt 2 gallons fuel. I never knew how much money would be missing after each trip/week. -
I grossed in almost 9,000$ in 3 months. Only got $3,500. Going to go to the dept. of labor. Its not my job to do what payroll is suppose to do.

More like .75 of a gallon per hour.

Still with Market Transport. I guess that I'll be here for awhile: they sent me my medical card.
Overall, the pay is about the same as May (i.e.: crummy) but the staff are a lot nicer and there are fewer daily beatings, as were the case at May.
Not a lotta overlap as to customers; I don't have to do those friggin' Costco retail stores anymore, but those have been replaced with Fred Meyer retail stores. One big improvement is that I do get home about once a week now, if only for twelve hours.
I have to park at the wretched Lathrop yard though, and that means that my car gets to be washed once a week now. -
Not sure if I should click the "Thank" button
You're right though, not a huge difference between May & Market, except I see a lot of Market's trailers being hauled on rail, which means they might be hurting for drivers?seamallowance Thanks this. -
I believe that is the case. From what I can figure, they just brought in an extraordinary number of drivers. Also, it's as though a switch was just thrown: they're running our butts off now. A month ago, it was slow.
