    I believe primes lease trucks are still governed at 65 and the guy with the DOT # doesn't always pick what you haul.

    That said I agree life is a business and approaching it as such will pay dividends. As a company driver I look at it as selling my service to the company I drive for. I provide them good service in order to retain them as a customer and as a result we have a mutually beneficial relationship. So far that approach has proven to be a profitable business with 0 overhead.

    Thats exactly how I approached being a company driver and have done the same as I've moved on.

    My trainer has been LO for Prime for 7 years. Successful in the past but he says that it's not what it used to be. Shippers are paying less, sales screws him, etc.

    Yeah I personally think he's too soft about dealing with Prime
