until i see there union book or pay stubs i wont belive they make much a bubble head told me he is making 19 and some change pulling tripples and rocky mountains his math didnt add up either takes 4 years to get to 25 dollars then a jump to 32 for 5th year

YPB! But I guess everybody has to work somewhere...
(Except for us retired old farts.)

 

I think their p/d guys do about 70k-ish a year here and chicago is one of the highest paying markets in the country. I'm sure they have some guys making 80 or more but I'm also sure those guys have absolutely no life out side of work. I put in apps with all the big LTL carries around here, the only one I wanted to work for was conway and they're full right now. I ran away from the others when I found out the kind of hours they are working. OD, Saia, and all of the union gigs are working 12's minimum from what I've been told and compared to my 40-50 hour weeks that sound like hell so they can keep that extra money, it aint worth it.

 

Don't know where you got your info, but you won't see 40-50 hr weeks at Con Way either...
